Squats - 3 x 5 x 75kg Deadlidts - worked up to 5 x 155kg. On the 4th rep with 155kg, I felt a less than cosy popping sensation in my lower back/hip area, accompanied by the sense of something shifting position that was neither meant to, nor ever dared to before. Dropped bar, took off belt, walked around gym with pins & needles all down my left leg. Contemplated having a little cry with worry as to what the f**k just happened. Rang my brother who decided it was probably best to call it a day there. Rolled The Stick on glute/lower back area for 5 minutes, then stood under hottest shower I could tolerate for 10 minutes. Had 4 ibuprofen. Awaiting tomorrow moring with pale faced dread. | ||
