I suspect, as I had a similar situation a couple of years back, you've gotten hold of one of those god awefull dead sweet cheap high calorie/carb drinks from ebay in a big tub. I put loads of weight on, mostly a fat belly and felt crap in the same way as you describe. I suspect you are reacting to the high sugar content. Cut those drinks down to 1 a day max and see how you feel. Or better still, eat a better food based diet with some protein shakes thrown in.

I also found when I had my calories much higher I had many of the same symptoms.

I was having a lot of shakes, and bulking them op with oats. It set off acid reflux, which caused more mucus production. I was more prone to cramps and had a broken sleep pattern.

I removed oats completely from my diet, and reduced my shakes and concentrated on eating more solid foods, and all the symptoms have stopped. I am finding it hard to keep the calories high from whole foods though, it is more expensive and time consuming, so I have lost a fair bit of weight.

I found 5g a day of taurine cured the cramps, but I dont need it now either.

Its hard to know what to do without being you and feeling the difference changing different parts of the diet makes.

It could also just be that you are tired because you are training hard, carrying more weight, digesting more food etc and your body is having to adjust.

I don't think ya need 4000 calories from shakes + food to "maintain body weight and add a little muscle" you're 98kg not 160!!

Just going to get fat IMO

4000kcal from shakes is huge and seems excessive, especially for someone your size. If it's a weight gainer, it may well also be fairly cheap, simple carbs. If I were you I'd sit down and work out:
1. What your actual intake in a day is - not just kcal, but carbs, protein, fats, fibre, micronutrients
2. What it needs to be to grow at an acceptable rate
3. What solid food you need to eat to get there. Liquid calories should be an addition to help you make up the balance.

What is the weight-gainer you are using?

How many Kcal you consume from food alone?

That sounds more realistic, though it's still a lot. Using oats is a good move though.

As davy said, extra 'good' fats help. Just 1 tbsp of olive oil (for example) has about 100 kcal. You can easily add calories to a meal this way (e.g. in a pasta sauce). Peanut butter is also nice.

The best advise that anyone can give you is you ness to eat and drink to your needs, there is no point in eating and using supplements like a 25 stone monster if your only 13 stone because it's excessive, the strongmen on telly have massive amounts of calls a day because there bodys nee that amount the same goes with water, iv changed my diet a little I'm actually eating
less and i'm still throwing on weight, I have three full meals, two snacks and a shake before bed, my strength is still going up but I'm loosing fat and still putting on weight, iv put on over a stone again in about six week I'm now 19.4 and at the rate I'm lobbing on weight will be closer to 21 at Xmas, I'm eating clean meat and veg pluss my pasta or rice no bread as it bloats me up, tin o tuna or chest as a snack and about two pints of milk a day with about two to three lts of water a day, I also have a day were I will have a beer or two but no moor, but if your only 98kg you need to be eating just over your needs so your adding weight but not massive amounts of fat, you do need massive amounts of calls to grow and big protine too but what your body will use and need like I said there is a reason why big tell etc eat like they do it's because they need it to keep there weight up, you don't
