I want to make a loading platform for my power rack but wood turns out to be more expensive than I thought. Anyone got any ideas for ways to create a cheap platform for my power rack? Just been looking at scaffolding board , found some 5ft boards for £7 , would these be strong enough for loading stones / sandbags onto?

i got some old railway sleepers that i'm going to put across the loading pins abd just hold them in place with some G clamps.

Aye sleepers would deffo do the job Neil but unless I know someone like your mate I think they cost a bit more than I want to spend.

Scaffy boards would be fine mate.

Layer 2 lots in opposing directions and screw together.

I just put an axle on the loading pins and load stones over that onto tyres and mats. its easier to practise repping that way.

I use some old pieces of decking board, but scaff planks would def be strong enough.
