cheers guys.

had a realy good day yesterday and was f**ked by the end of it, well more like after the 2nd event Roll-Eyes i think it had to be the hardest field of competitors i've ever been against in an u90 comp, shame englands champ James wasn't in as it would most probably of been a different outcome. i have nothing but love for all the competitors yesterday and always nice to meet new people from the forum.

Massive thanks to Mark for putting on another great comp and all those involved running it (they have a much tougher day than competing imo)

JC and big T great refs as always, very fair throughout.

Ben's funny with a PA system Grin

Millsy and Joni for score keeping and Millsy advice throughout the day was much appreciated.

My day went like this

Deads 2nd place
warmed up to 270 then used it as an opener
270-1
290-f was nice it moved but not far enough haha, hopefully soon though but no matter what i did i was never going to beat the Welsh Dragon

270/280kg yoke 1st place
20 seconds for the 30mtrs
Almost past out on first 15mtrs which was odd but had to get shane Wink

270kg conans not sure of place but very close to bottom, may not of even made the required short distance for heavy set.
By far worst event, as soon as i picked it up i went dizzy so ran as far as i could which was about 1mtr and then drop, was really angry but it happens sometimes and obviously never trained it enough, my own fault.

105kg Log for reps think a lot of us joint 2nd or 3rd here
Got 3 reps and dropped one behind my head, very sorry Cleggy, hope no damage done. Still felt as i was going dizzy when the weight was on my chest so i was all over the place, kind of happy with 3 as the winning was 4 from the rep king Boar but if im honest i expected more, still a learning thing i suppose. it must of been the previous events fatigue showing on us all. as i was feeling a bit f**ked lee gave me some glucose shots that helped me perk up a bit and felt much better after, cheers Lee mate.

120kg farmers for distance 1st
Good event for me but i was not feeling confident, after watching ste baker beast it and knowing who was to come i knew that i had to go as hard as i could and manged 45mtrs, was very happy and nothing more there, legs went to jelly by the end of it and such a funny feeling wobbling about after it, thanks to someone who stopped me falling over Grin

Thanks Joni for making me do it and reminding me who was better at northerns Roll-Eyes

Was in 2nd place going into stones with only half points seperating me,Boar and Chris J

Stones not sure of placing
I never had to win stones but had to beat Boar to win, and despite his lack of confidence on stones i would never rule the man out so i had to go all out. first 2 stones were good and quick, slight mistake on 3rd which had me and Boar neck and neck, it was so close with i think a second seperating us, it was very exciting for me to do and most fun stone run ever, great to see Boar progress on the stones as it was a weakness of his and im sure he wouldnt mind me saying it but with how he went yesterday and his awesome strength/fitness he will be unreal at BSM.

ended up in 1st place by only half a point, was very lucky to beat some of the real beasts that competed yesterday, im loving competing against Boar more and more as we are always so close these days. Chris Jenkins will be amazing with events training and to come 3rd with such a lack of practice on events is unreal.

real shame for shane as he would of been up there as he was on every evnt apart from the weird cramps, just cut your leg off you weirdo Roll-Eyes

really happy Chris R achieved his goal with massive progress while losing weight is ace.

pagan was awesome which was not a suprise and his lad James definite future beast, not that he wasnt a beast yesterday, sure everyone agreed on performance of the day to that lad.

Boar-Boaresome
smalls-good scalps my man
macca-beast again with cracking set of legs Wink
and everyone else who was quality, no s**t performances
