I am dead, f**king knackered.

Great comp though!

Top 7 qualifying were the three above, robbo, phil boyham, JOE HUBBLE, and hixxy.

Kenny won performance of the day (c**t but deserved)

Sad for JC fumbling the arm over arm a tiny bit, cost him some deserved points, and the last stone not loading cost him qualification.

Joe HUBBLE is awesome, tore 2 calluses off on the farmers so only got about 30m that cost massive points but he still made it through.

I feel I was a bit rubbish on feeding the arm over arm rope so apologies to any lost seconds to people due to that!

Millsy was awesome too, Mark was world class today, CONSISTENT on his ex-s**t events and dominant on his good events.

Tony's hat was underused.

And PB today, JT called me a handsome bas***d.

Olly is a c**t but I think we did a good job today, as well as MINI VIKING Ste.

Also met Willsan! Splendid guy, his dad is cool.

great comp today

clegg deserved the win with a mature all round performance farmers impressed me the most after last years drops and wobbles

stuart hayes battled with injury from the 2nd event still finished a worthy 2nd 12 reps on deadlift going before mark (13reps)

millsey fleet of foot and fast of arm static strength improving

hubble i thought he had blown it not finishing farmers but blasted stones in 16.1s to secure qualification

lots of other guys putting in great showings john marsden impressed on static/farmers/medley

kenny 9 reps on deadlift

joni pulling 4 reps for a pb

fatsam suprisingly athletic for a fatkid

i have lots of mates with big noses who are all good runners maybe this is why hixxy can blast 300kg yoke 23m in 10s? great showing for first comp

refs were pretty good alsoWink

Awesome performances all round and a well deserved win by Mark.

So many people who were impressive in their own ways but one person that springs to mind is Joe Hubble who considering this being his second comp did extremely well and blitzed the stones.

Im f**king knackered now & apologies to Ben for shooting off at the end but somehow i ended up buying a 135kg stone which i hadnt planned on buying.Confused

Awesome comp. Loads of athletes who were easily good enough to grace the final.

Big highlights for me include Millsy nailing two event wins and looking genuinely class on all events. Joni with a quality all round performance with PBs a plenty, Kenny showing that there is no reason why he cant be one of the best 105s about and Cleggy showing that he's class at every event. Too many great performances to mention them all.

Thought Ben put on a QUALITY comp too, 6 events, 23 athletes and very smooth running. I am absolutely f**king knackered now, that loading is hard work!

Awesome event with huge credit to Ben for pulling it all together yet again.

Quality of guys on show today was outstanding and so many more than the top 7 are deserving of an Englands place.

Clegg was awesome, he looks untouchable. As someone has already said his performance was world class.

Boyham showed massive balls and true class still finishing second after f**king his bicep.

Mills was my solid bet for qualification and he didn't dissapoint. Consider your self redeemed mate. Aways consistent and will place high in any comp he does.

Kenny really is a f**king mong, how he does what he does at 80 odd kg I don't know.

Hubble would have been my pic for performance of the day, I had been led to believe he was all fake tan and bicep curls but f**k me the boys got talent.

Fat Sam showed he has stepped up a massive level and should be really proud of his performance.

Hayes was consistent throughout, much like Mills. Really nice guy to boot.

Robbo can kiss my f**king ass with all his, I' s**t, suffer from nerves, will never qualify bull s**t. Hope this showing adds to your confidence mate and you start to believe in yourself.

Gutted for JC, guys a hoot at comps and a better strongman than he shows. He was stood there to the last cheering guys on even when their performance would cost him points. Shows true class imo and the spirit in which these comps are run.

Cheers to all the people helping today (and yesterday!), refs, loaders, scorers, videogrpahers and to all the people who lent kit and supported the event.

Many congrats to Cleggers on a very solid win and to all the lads for putting in MAX EFFORT, it was a tough comp and some of the 7 qualifications spots went down to the wire. Real quality in depth.
