It was good fun but I do need to play sensible and get so quality work in now. I've been away moping for a few days, feeling a bit melancholic. However, I needed to snap out of it and today was all about catharsis. A bit of explanation is needed. I've been back to the Doc's about the headaches I get and the diagnosis of TN. Long story short, because of my age (young for the condition) I have to be scanned for a brain tumour. I think without the meds (which mess with my mind as it is) I would probably have taken this better. It is after all an elimination thing. But being a drama queen, I went off the deep end and was all "the end is near". I'm over than now so it's back to doing what I love. I can live with that, it's still bloody heavy. X2 dat face, my son pulled a pb on the deadlift the other day,his form was off but still did it he was bouncing around for hours lol my point is we can see that feeling on your face some heavy awesome lifting mate. | ||

They make me feel very nauseous which means I just don't want to eat. Therefore I only eat when I'm truly hungry and so mindless snacking has died a death. So now I only eat my actual meals. It's a simple thing but I'm down 5 lbs and half an inch off my waist. I'm not actively trying to recomp but "do what can, with what you have". Band Rows x 25 reps x 25 reps x 25 reps Band Triceps Pull Downs x 30 reps x 30 reps x 30 reps Band Triceps overhead extensions x 5 reps --loads of tension x 5 reps Band Face Pulls x 25 reps x 25 reps Neck Nods 6kg x 25 reps 6kg x 25 reps EZ Curls 35kg x 10 reps 35kg x 10 reps 35kg x 10 reps --I used a 2 second eccentric on every rep. Elbow flexors pumped and crying. A1 Trap Bar Rows bar x 10 reps 65kg x 10 reps 75kg x 10 reps 75kg x 10 reps A2 Dead Press bar x 10 reps 60kg x 6 reps 70kg x 5 reps 80kg x 1 rep A3 Rollouts --Kneeling x 10 reps x 10 reps --band assisted standing, smaller band, damn that's hard. x 3 reps x 3 reps A4 Squat 70kg x 3 reps --This might be too light for a first set, I keep unracking before I mean too. --belt on 120kg x 3 reps 160kg x 3 reps --Reverse bands on 200kg x 5 rep --I've stepped this back to make sure the form is right. Next week my goal is 10 reps. I don't care over how many sets, just that I hit the reps. I'll continue like this foe a few weeks until I'm hitting 20 total reps. If they happen in 1 set great, if they take 20 sets it's doesn't matter. After doing a bit more of my own research, it's a difficult condition to diagnose. Therefore everything else need to be eliminated first. It's just damn scary when a doctor tells you it could be a brain tumour so lets can for that. Ok,excuse me while I go an have kittens. Cheer mate. I'm going to adjust the set up for when I try again (in 4 weeks). I want the bands to go completely slack. I also want 400kg. The question is, can my grip take it... | ||

It feels like everything I've lost has been from my spare tyre. You'll hear no complaint from me about that. It is strange though, usually my fat loss is more systemic and it take a big drop to see it in the gut area. | ||

I expect these to be on par with the EZ curls before long. Front Squat 70kg x 8 reps --Wow this feel easy now --Belt on 120kg x 3 reps --Reverse Bands on 160kg x 3 reps Nordic Curls Variants x 10 reps --Hip extension x 3 reps --Band Assisted full nordic x 3 reps --Band Assisted full nordic Deadlift --Hook Grip 120kg x 3 reps --Belt on 160kg x 1 rep 200kg x 1 rep --Straps on 240kg x 1 rep --Reverse Bands on, Grip Wider 300kg x 3 reps --I've adjusted the bands so they give less assistance and go slack sooner at the top. It's certainly made the lift harder, nice simple progression. | ||
