Well what a s**t show, I decided to try the power rack for benching and found I couldn't unrack without looking retraction and tight position or unpack was to low puting a horrible amount of pressure through my shoulders,the bench itself was to narrow and to high, managed a set of 5 @ 160 fail @180 wanted some doubles atleast.basically a write off
Anyway carried on with my accessories floor pin press 3sets of 6x120
Db press 3x10@40kg
Tricep hammer ext narrowx15 midx15 wide x15 3sets ss with YTWL X 3x12 :/

Sometime you get the big fish, sometime you could care less as long as it doesn't keep happening.
Sometimes you get angry when the set up purely sucks Goat balls. You are a cool friend no matter what you lift as long as it doesn't hAppen again. ;•]

How come you decided to use the power rack ? was the bench already taken ?

Considering you didn't have your normal setup that's still some very strong benching mate

Well there was no spotter so I thought I might try and get used to the rack, it was horrid :l

BTW I was at a tractor supply place and purchased a Bulls Nose ring. I attached to the rolling thunder pin and was doing two-fingered deads. Painfull but challenging??? What good is it though???

Lol yep, i will hopefully look back on this page in a couple of months having learnt from it, also I'd like to think if a newbie lifter comes along to look at my journal they will hopefully see that failure is just another stepping stone of success, I like to show not al, my workouts are unicorns and rainbows well not unless I have pre workout then anything goes lol Happy

Deadlift day,
Still following the coans.
Deadlift 2x220kg always feel like this isn't enough.
Speed deads 3x3@182.5kg
Curcit power shrug 180x5 3 sets can go much much heavier but program says 65%
Stiff leg deads 140kg 3x5 again feel like I can go heavier but want to leave space for progress
Bent over row 100/140/140 3x5
Band assisted pull ups 3x5
Arched good morning 3x5@80kg

My son had ago at deadlifting having had no previous experience really did 90kg
He is 60kg of string bean lol 1 1/2 times body weight quite pleased with him.

That coan routine worked well for me mate...it builds quickly so don't think you are not doing enough!

Bench assistance.
Bench against bands 10 sets of 3 /140 bar weight +30-40 band tension.
Cgbp 3x6 @120
Seated shoulder pin press
4x6 @ 80kg these are feeling good now.
3 phase Hammer head tricep pulldown 15xNarrow/15xmid/15xwide. 3 sets super set with YTWL 3x15.
Enjoyable stuff especially after my last bench session. Very hot and sticky in the tin gym again today.
