Martin seems the obvious choice if anyone is gonna break it
AvatarCuddles
I think if Martin was serious about breaking it, he'd obliterate it.

I think he'd have a decent shot at breaking the all time best, under the new rules.

Best time-triallist of his generation, and probably ever IMO.

I know f**k all, but I totally agree with Cuddles. Panzerwagen is a different species.

Do aero benefits still exist at low speeds?

AvatarCuddles
Video wont load for me, I suspect it's my network that's the problem.

Went out hill hunting this morning, as I cant seem to find the time in the evening to get any decent training in. Ended up doing 470m of climbing on the commute, fasted (caffeine fuelled). Not eating till lunchtime might be a struggle!

do you find not eating after helps? Training first thing just fuelled by coffee is fine, but if I don't get something when I get in I find I pick at sugary rubbish all morning. (low will power?)
AvatarCuddles
I'm mid fast so cant (or am not allowed) to eat! It' much easier if you have set yourself a time for your meal and refuse to let yourself eat before then. I then overeat at lunch, in an attempt to stop me grazing during the afternoon.

A can of diet coke at about 10:30am normally satisfies any urges.

I should add that I ate a small banana straight after. Only about 70 cals though.

I gotta shed some fat mate, I am planning on doing a mid summer training camp in the Alps if I can afford it, and the thought of doing something like the mortirolo at my current weight scares me enough to not eat!
AvatarCuddles
Oh, and ive got an option on a Dura Ace SRM power meter for £1k.

I'm due a few hundred quid back from the taxman. I'm in turmoil!
Steve
Sounds like quite a deal. Too good to miss?

i'm struggling to get anywhere near the weight I had hoped. Just so tired at the moment I'm constantly eating to keep going!
dr_hazbun
Olly, do you currently train without a power meter then?
AvatarCuddles
I don't have one for any of my nikes no, but I have access to a wattbike if I want to do any power based training/testing.
dr_hazbun

Drug fuelled I know, but this is so impressive. He falls off his bike, gets back on, then picks them off one by one. Like a man possessed.

Impressed with the likeness of the actor playing Ferrari. Interesting that they feature the incident with Simeoni in the trailer too. Aside from the PED's, the way in which Armstrong did what he did to Simeoni was shameful. As was the behaviour of the vast majority of the peloton who all made sure that Simeoni stayed a pariah.
AvatarPhillippeHalter
Did Lance ever test positive for drugs...?
