4th year student so on my second atm.

First was "Quantum dots, Improving on the Boatman two-pot synthesis and developing a one-pot synthesis". Was alright. Got 72% ish i think...

The one i am currently wriitng(Lol,, written intro, still doing lot of lab work for it) Was going to be "The use to tert-butyl Siloxy phosphates as ligands on Cobalt for use in water splitting".(Water splitting is taking water to hydrogen and oxygen, Useful in solar power to store the energy)

But that is nowehre near working and found something else interesting the other day in the lab. So final title may be something about "Thermochromatic behaviour or tert-butoxy phosphate ligated Cobalt complexes"(This stuff changes colour with different temperatures, it's very cool)

Shame the water splitting thing didn't work out. Lots of interest in that area at the mo

EDIT: I also initially misread "boatman" as "batman" in your first dissertation. Would've made it a lot cooler

The water splitting thing might work out but we haven't got close to making the stuff to test yet.

WE're doing unknown reaction that "should" work which means half of them don't and the other half take a few attempts to get anything decent out.

In a year or so when they get to the intended target it may split water.

The colour changing thing is interesting but only useful if i can find out why it changes colour and prove this.

Last one, Subcellular distributions of signalling intermediates during the activation of primary T cells. So looking at white blood cells. With a view to helping people with MS and lupus

This degree, thankfully no dissertation
