Do it the Basement way!!

Huge fry up on way to comp!! Mix of Jaffa cakes and Ephy during day! Works well for Cowdrey and Hawkins!!

mate a good hearty breakfast. some apples to have through the day and aplle juice
to be honest just carbs for energy. u wont feel like eating much i dont anyway.

everything which u wil use in comps like protein carbs etc. so sausages eggs beans bannas protein shake and more if you can stomach it. sometimes nerves stops u from eating on comp day so a protein shake and i find pine apple a good sauce of energy to

I eat a breakfast with a lot of complex carbs 3 hours before lifting, and lucosade and pro napalm throughout the comp.

Its so easy to not eat enough, with the adrenalin sometimes you might not feel hungary. Failure to keep eating will mean failed lifts. As others have said lots of carbs. Gatorade, redbull, cereal bars, cake, sandwiches etc. Just be careful not to eat too much at once else you'll feel sick.

beers afterwards are a must (although I have seen some have beers during)

The Finnish were drinking whiskey during the GPC worlds to thin the blood while wearing kit.

ANd as they were the onyl guys to bench 800lbs and squat 1100lbs there may be some merrit to it.

Iv it went out and bought a big bag iv bought 2 weider bottled protein shakes n 5 flap jacks shots protein 3 shots this energy s**t like 300 mg caffein each n pack Jaffa cakes the worse thing is were driving down on the day it's like 3 hours a way so eating breakfast is guna be odd that early at 6 lol n iv been told to take 1200 mg of ibrufen is that rite plus what the best things ie what kind of shorts for deadlift

protein shots, wtf ???. I wouldnt take ibuprofen unless you have a niggle and certainly not 1200mg (at once).
