Lol. Might've overdone the moisturiser. BUT you don't need callouses to have a strong grip, and if you ain't got callouses they ain't gonna rip off...

Yep, smooth, supple skin won't form callouses as easily. I don't have much in the way of callouses and never any problems with them ripping and I do some form of Deadlifts 3 times a week. I have good skin naturally. If you don't, moisturising is probably the way forward.

Cover the area in superglue, let it dry before you tough anything else or close your hand (quite important Happy) then tape up the hand and use straps if you feel you need to.
