Squat 60x5, 80x5, 100x4, 120x3, 140x2x6 Bench Press (some paused reps here and there but mostly pretty touch and go) 60x6, 80x6, 95x6, 110x6x6 First couple of sets were easy, then it got hard, and then the last set was easy again. Don't really know why but I got them done. Pulldown (neutral) 90x5, 105x4, 120x3x5 Hammer curls dropped because of mysterious tendon pain seemingly caused by benching, which WILL have gone in a couple of days. | ||

It was very hard but I was always going to get them. Feeling good about the peaking phase of this routine now. Bench Press 60x5, 80x4, 95x3, 110x2x6 DB Bench Press 42.5sx10x3 Pull-up +5x10x5 Very good day. Squats were great, and the DBs were an all-out effort to get 3 sets of 10 with a weight I haven't done 10s with before. I was knackered by the time I got to pull-ups but got a reasonable amount of volume in before deciding I ought to call it a day. | ||

I have been reading some journals and thy're just like chat rooms! Too much banter - please try to keep it generally about relevant discussions. The onus is on the Journal holder to keep the crap out - if it continues Journals will have to be locked, which is a shame. We have standards on MT and many members/non members read the journals and enjoy them - please don't let MT become a trashy site. Many members/non members read the journals because they like them way they are! I think this is just ridiculous so I'm not keeping my journal on MT anymore. | ||

Treadmill 30 mins (Speed 6, up to incline 10) | ||
