Hamstrings have been really sore since the good mornings on Monday - so no real volume on deadlifts today

45 degree Hypers, knee raises and empty bar snatch for 2 sets of 10

Squats

Up to 2 sets of 90 x 4

Bench (touch and go)

Up to 2 sets of 80 x 4

Stiff leg deads

Military press

Up to 2 sets of 50 x 5

Pull downs and leg curls for 3 sets of 10

Up to a pleasing 140 x 2


On my exit from hospital I would have been very pleased if I could have foreseen my current, slow but steady, progress

Doctor says my pancreas problems should be all done, no more infection inside me - just a left over pipe that he says isn't doing anything anymore.
Very pleased with this - onwards and upwards

I liked the deadlifts, horrible on my grip but the light weight made me concentrate on form and position while trying to hold onto the thing.

A wonderful day for me - my eldest son (15 next week) got up at 0545 to come to the gym with me. He squatted and benched with me - I'm feeling very proud.
