Bloody hell its amazing wot nerves do tht OH was a rea shambles how the hell i didnt knock myself out when i hit my chin il never kno looked like i was goin down for a sec deadlift was ok tho Grin

Hi All

Just got home, after speading 20 in the car park cramping up everywhere before i could set off.
Just wanted to say Fantastic day!!! Mark, you always put on a good comp but today was right out of the top draw, by the way I am not forgetting all the helpers & loaders in that, (sorry I was not able to pull the 200 out of the bag for ya today guys)
As has already been said, there were lots of PB's all over the place which just added to the atmosphere.
Lets keep this going now every year, support it and come along and have a good day lifting with like minded people. Personally I think we all spend all these hours in the gym so when someone like Mark puts on a top comp like this everyone should get in and have a go, none of all this "well i was not on top form"
ok bit of a rant over!

Mark you can put me in for next year and I will say this now, Flex's 560 record will go! If not?....well we can work on a forfeit....no you are not inserting anything up my arse!
Keep all the extra bits too, the stones and the sword in the stone hold, both excellent add on's. (somehow I think I will see that sword/stone thing in other comps you put on in the near future)

i came 6th i think it was:

karl grant
andy goswell
ben france
niall jones
mike howarth
jonny 'me' wignall

i won the 62kg log for reps in 75 seconds with 22

kenny won the bodyweight bench with 26

alex curletto got ther 203 stone

not 100% on the hold event but joni did VERY well

i am delighted with my PB's !

tom did a 330 deadlift ..karl did 340 or 350 ..... and 190

vausie NAILED a 210 deadlift
fanny PB 95kg ftoh
awsome pagan junior got a 232.5 PB OUT OF THE BLUE

ben 325 raw deadlift pb ...PB's were all over the shop !!!

many thanks to ALL at OSG ..eps the 2 loaders ..both sexy men.


it was good to see you have a good day with the pb's Boar, you put a lot into this sport so good to see you getting some nice returns mate

Really impressed by your lifting today mate and I fully agree with your comments about supporting Mark, OSG and the sport in general.

I think the sword in the stone should be at EVERY comp at OSG , it's a great little sideshow that spectators and competitors can have a go at.I'd have liked to have had a go today myself if I wasn't so disgustingly hung over.
