Thought i may aswell join the club and start a training log...

Ive done 2 training sessions this week after SSM2 and my 4th place finish which im very proud of as its by far my greatest achievement!!

On tuesday i trained overhead nothing too strenuos as im still knackerd from the comp my session went like this-

Strict press

2x 60kg 8 reps
1x 80kg 6 reps
1x 100kg 3 reps
1x 120kg 1 rep

I then did a small drop set for a few reps

1x 100kg 5 reps
1x 60kg for 12 reps

This is the first week iver ever done strict press as ive only ever trained push press my current pb push is 150kg which im hoping i can raise to 160kg+ fingers crossed Happy

Single arm dumbell press-

1x 31kg 5 reps each arm
1x 40kg 5 reps each arm
1x 70kg 1 rep each arm

Then after fannying round and deciding im still fooked from sugdens i did some light side lateral dumbell raises upto 20kgs each arm for 5 reps which i hold fully extended for a second as ive got a crucifix hold coming up in a few months.

My second session on friday morning before work was just for fun as the week after i compete i normally have off to rest properly but i surprised myself and had a good session i trained squats which went like this-

2x 60kg 6 reps
2x 100kg 5 reps
1x 140kg 5 reps
1x 180kg 3 reps (belt on)
1x 200kg 1 rep
1x 220kg 1 rep (knee wraps on)

This was my first session in my lovely new Do Win weightlifting shoes which i think are absolutely marvellous and worth there weight in gold,

I did some light fron squats to see how my knees are feeling after comp etc and to test my new shoes-

1x100kg 5 reps
1x 140kg 3 reps
1x 100kg 5 reps

This was just testing the Do wins out as JC and Cleggy swear by weightlifting shoes and i can see there point !

Great to see youve started a journal mate. 120kg strict press and 150kg push press is f**king strong.

Ill be watching this journal - make sure you get some videos.

I do standing mate, i dont bother with seated anymore but when i did i got upto about 140kg i think?!

Ps boys ill be uploading my pb 300kg (massive hitch) deadlift laters and also...... Jacks 365kg and 380kg yes 380kg deadlift!!!

This is my massive hitch 300kg deadlift which im not proud of as the hitching is know pissing me off !! If im honestHappy

And last but by no means least 380KG 836LBS !!!!!!!!

crazy lifts, I witnessed the 380 myself and it was very easy, 400 is there

That 300 was no where near as bad i thought it maybe - if left the floor very fast.

Jack is one f**king strong bas***d - 380 looked like there was more in the tank.

Thanks mate im starting to hate hitching know its really fookin me off as i know if i correct it i have a lot more pull in me ! SOOOOO gonna start doin lots of 18's 20's etc etc and try and work my hitch out YIPEEE ha and JACK!! BEAST, 400 will be there VERY soon like a few months im telling ya and have you noticed the size of his head!! WOAAAA monster hahaha LOVE YA MATE Happy

I promise you if you focus on not hitching for 3-4 weeks with floor deadlifts you will not do it anymore!
