That what i never got with guys like pat mendes too. but guess in america they all start training early high school like 13 years old for football and other sports. generally over here its around 16-18

I wouldn't expect anything of the sort, this lads 6 years younger than me, and without exaggerating, not far from lifting double what I was at that age across the board. AND has the type of physique I would hope to have after another 5 years of training lol.

I saw him lift at the World Juniors 3 years ago as a 16 year old 82.5kg . Deadlifted and squatted over 300kg! 16! It will be exciting to watch his progress.

Me neither. It's some sort of fabled story that X years = Y progress. Junior records mean SQUAT. The future is promising for him though, he seems to have a good set up behind him.
