Incline dumbbell press- 30x10, 35x10, 40x10
Chain supsended press ups- x10
" " Flys- x10
" " close grip press ups- x10
Lying tricep ext combo- 10x10,x10,x20
Pulldowns- 10x3
Seated dumbbell cleans- 10x2
Grippers

That was that. Just easy work, gettin a little pump on and keeping things healthy and ticking over. Dumbbell pressing was nice. Used a deep ROM and paused soem reps but didn't lock out much. Rest was what it was!

Grippers wernt great but just got some work in. Focus is really on v-bar work now.

Squat- 165x3x5
Box squat (narrow stance)- 140x5, 140x3, 120x6
GM's- 70x8x2, 100x5x2
2 hand pinch- 40x5, 50x5, 60x0, 50x5x4

Okay session. 70% squating looked easier on paper than it did to execute today. Using the narrow stance on box squats made it them a hell of a lot harder, but did the job of stressing the quads more. I kept the load down on the gm's and concentrated on nice fast reps.

Done for the week now.

I'm 70%-ing it today on squats. A massive 130kgs!

My hams are totally dead from the GMs I did the other day; are they supposed to hit them that hard?
AvatarIainKendrick
LOL Yes pal! Go easy on the volume/intensity of gm's they can be hard on the body.

How do you find the box squats mate?

What's your squat style like mate? Technique and mindset are everything on the squat imo.
AvatarIainKendrick
I like box squating. It has really helped my squat. If you click on the youtube filter thing you'll find vids of my comp squat and box squat. Normally box squating I use the same tech as I would free squat.

Bench press- 120x2x6
Pin press + doubled mini bands- 110x3x2
Dumbbell row- 40x30
Kender rows(TM)
V-bar- 50x3, 60x1, 70x1, 80x1, 90x1 (new pb and bw lift! Tongue )

Great session today. Speed on benching was great. 1st couple of sets where fast but a little ragged tech. Settled down and got some very clean, powerfull reps in. Bit of pin presses to finish the pressing work and add a little 'grind' to the training, and finished bench training with high rep s**t for upper back. Feel the pump and the pain!!

Was planning to go lightish on the v-bar but ended up going for it and got a PB and BW lift which was my short term goal. Still I thought it'd take longer to get, but am very happy did it. Roll on grip comp this dec!

Okay below is 2 vids from today. Fingers crosses if I can embed them!!!;

110x3 pin press

Kender rows
