I don't think it's the deadlifts that have the damage. After doing some research and thinking back I think I can almost pinpoint when and how I did it, I think it happened dropping too low, too quickly sqautting. Just got to lay off the squats for a couple of weeks and let it heal.

Good session tonight. All lifts were done totally raw. Sort of a deload compared to the last few weeks, the hip wasn't too bad, if a little uncomfortable. Seems to be improving.

Finish with some abs stuff.

Bit of light squatting to get some blood flowing around the hip area. First couple of sets spent messing about with foot positions and stance. The last set felt good and there was plenty more left in the legs but the lower back and core gave up.

160x3 fails, came off the floor easy enough but couldn't get the height to load it.
175xf had to try it just for lolz. broke the floor but that was it.

Happy with that. Need a bit practice on the timing with the axle but it will come. Really pleased with the dumbell considering I haven't used it for about 2 months.
Need to work on the front squats more to get the 160 stone, didn't have the strength in the front quads to extend.

Thanks guys. I'm liking that monster 'bell it's quite nice to press. I should have had the haggis that day really but I think my body has just got a little tired from working long hours and training. Onwards to 2013.
