Squats 70x10 120x8 Had to take ibuprofen to carry on. Hip and lower back very sore. 160x6 180x5 200x3 210x2 210x2 210x2 Took the weight down and straight into: 175x3 45secs rest 175x3 30 secs 175x3 Close bench barx10 70x10 90x8 110x4 110x3 110x3 Wide grip 80x10 80x10 80x10 80x10 Not too bad considering my lower back was still sore from Wednesday and left hip is still sore and painful when doing more than 3 reps. The Ibuprofen helped though!! Going to stick to heavy doubles for a few weeks and see if it clears up. | ||

Verdict on the Coan up to now: it works. This makes me happy | ||

Didn't seem to have much left for the bench, felt pretty weak and rubbish. | ||

Lots of push pressing (all with fat gripz) working up to 90 x3 x3 100x2 105 very painful failure Some dodgy power cleans (with fat gripz)up to 90kgx3 Took the fat gripz off some more dodgy power cleans up to a very painful 90kg Push press 90x3 90x4 90x5 (more there) 100x2 100x2 Log 85x1 85x1 Tried for another but had nothing left. Pull ups (motivated by the pull ups thread. LOL) B/w x6 +10kg x6 +20kg x4 Still having problems with the right forearm, especially with cleans. Really struggled with anything over 95kg. | ||

Mainly to get some warmth in the body, it was bloody freezing. Rowing machine 5 mins Punch bag 3 mins Skipping 3 mins Log 85x2 strict 85x2 Push press 85x3 push press 90x2 90x3 95x2 95x2 105x1 PB Misload, was supposed to be 100, but it flew up. 110xf a bit ambitious 100x2 100x1 Done. Well that was a surprise. Didn't feel that good going into the gym and took a while to warm up but hey ho there's another PB. | ||

Some pull ups in various forms Hip became too painful and movement was restricted, had to stop. Going to have to see somebody about this hip problem, it's not getting any better and starting to impede training now. Which is not good. | ||

Things have been progressing pretty well and the hip was manageable until today but It just decided enough was enough when I attempted 275, it started moving but I just couldn't pull through my hips. I think I've juay overdone it squatting heavy and reps week after week. | ||
