Belt on 180x5 x3 150x3 x5 Ass to grass speed squats, 90 secs rest between sets. Bench 70x10 80x10 100x8 120x3 130x2 Rep PB! Boom china. 135xf oops, no chance went down and stayed down 117.5x3 117.5x3 110x3 CGBP 70x10 70x10 70x10 Speed reps, 90 secs rest between sets. Fin. Fairly successful nights work. Seemed to struggle to find a stance with the squat where I could get proper depth with good form. Need to do more of the lighter speed work I thing until my form improves. Feeling strong atm and the bench felt really good. | ||

I don't think I was eating enough before, I was so concerned with keeping u90 it had a detrimental efffect on training. New goals for the end of the year: Deadlift 280kg Squat 240kg Log 110kg floor to o/h 120kg bench 140kg. | ||

Aiming for a 250 squat by the end of 2012 Member 1989, 3168 posts SQ 240, BP 140, DL 270650.0 kgs @ 90kgs UnEq | Sunday 28/10/12 Dumbell 10x6 20x6 30x6 All strict left and right 40x4 left and right 48x3 left 53 x1 x1 x1 xlots of fails, couldn't seem to nail the tech today. 48x8 felt easy enough Axle FTOH 35x5 1 clean and 5 strict press 55x5 1 clean 5 strict press 75x3 power clean and push press 95x snap city, right arm forearm to bicep, brachioradialis strain possibly. 75x alot. power cleans and mix of push press and split jerk. Stones 64kg up and down to 36",42",48",54",60" 85kg up and down all 5 100kg to 36",42",48",54",60" 120kg To 36".42",48",54" 160 lapped. Yay PB 135 to 36",42",48",48" Mixed session. Serious DOMS in the legs. Spent about 30 mins this morning rolling and massaging to try and free up from squatting. Dumbell wasn't great, possibly fatigued from maxing out on log and bench this week. Serious conditioning work on the stones. Plus a 160 lapped. Happy me! | ||

(beltless pb) plenty left there. Belt on 200x3 x3 speed lifts 90secs rest Power shrugs 170x3 x5 SLDL 170x5 180x5 190x5 rep pb. Bent over rows 120x5 x3 Underhand pulldowns 3x5 Ghr 3x5+ 50kg. All going well so far. Starts getting exciting from now, got one week at 247.5 then into pb territory. | ||

Another good session, things are feeling really good at the minute. | ||

Strangely I used to hate squatting back in the BBing days and detested leg days, now I love it. Sunday 4/11/12 One of the kids has given me a cold so I was feeling a bit ropey and couldn't be arsed to eat. Had my mate come round again so I just did a bit and worked in with him Strict press Bar x10 40 x10 50 x8 60 x6 70 x5 Warming up for log Log 85 x3 95 x1 x5 100 x3fails First time using this log of mine, I like it. The clean absolutely flies up but it's a slightly different press so I need to get used to it but the 95's were easy enough. 15" Deadlift 120x6 160x6 200x5 230x3 250x3 Fairly comfortasble. Pretty routine session really, only did deadlifts because my mate wanted to do some. | ||
