Best beer has got to be subjective. Leffe is excellent but i'd go for a black stout, Guinness or Murphys if there's none of that, which would imply the pub's landlord is f**ked in the head. Wink

Nice choices. I like a bit of an ale myself. A good obscure real all is very nice, but stuff like pedigree or london pride (darrn sarrf aint I) is good.

Lager is s**te but on hot summers day it'll do.

I have my prefferences but never met a beer I didn't want to drink... well gold label is tough going, and Dragon Stout is hard work too, allthough John Porter loves the stuff. No doubt that's why he's a better powerlifter than me lol!

Absolutly!
I'm not much of a 1664/foster/bud fan either but i might have one for brunch with a tight hangover though.
Any too strong of a beer over 5° that is, i have dificulties in calling that a beer like crest for instance, half alcohol half metal. This kind of s**t drives me mad.

I'm not a big drinker, usually only drink once a week because I get the mother of all hangovers even from quite modest amounts of booze and end up spending half the next day in bed.
However, my local does a very good pint of Smooth Bitter which goes down well when I'm in the mood.
At home I'm partial to a nice Red Wine but, if I want to get hammered, or if I'm drinking a town centre pub where the beer is s**te it has to be Vodka and Coke.

Not at 68kg you're not Wink.

I rarely drink these days; if I'm out for a curry or a chinese I'll have a cobra/kingfisher/tsingtao. On the rare occasions we go for Japanese I really like Asahi.

If I'm having a drink on its own, it'll be a G&T, a cognac, or a decent bourbon.

In pubs I've probably drunk more shandy than anything else (alcoholic) this last year... driving!

Rum and Coke = Awesomeness. In fact, anything with good rum in it is hard to beat.

Tsingtao and Asahi are both really nice and crisp. Although it is obligatory that you order them with an oriental accent.

I pronounce tsingtao pretty close to correctly, apparently. Asahi I think is pronounced much as it's spelled, according to my japan-living-for-three-years friend Happy.

Jaegermeister was the principal ingredient in a very enjoyable post event party in Germany in 2007, so on the rare occasions when I go out for a drink it's that and premium lager. Particularly partial to Kronenburg 1664.Happy Guinness is for gays in denial and baldies.Wink

Is that why Littler always orders two?
