Traps and upper back still knackered from Saturday, couldn't get them properly tight for bench. First rep I've missed on this routine, let's hope it's the last! Strong session overall though.

No time for assistance. Squats were f**king hard. Lots of grinding. Technique good on first rep of each set but obviously not perfect on the others.

Snatch isn't as aggressive as I'd like, something I need to work on. Any tips, feel free to chime in.

Get iiiiiiinnn ya bas***d! Previous 1rm for two sets of two, that's what I'm talkin' about! Second rep of each set was a fight!

Technically that was supposed to be the end of the session but I felt like doing some press. Almost failed to press 55, so called it a day and concluded that heavy bench does in fact make the press weaker Happy

well so much for 2x2! think the fatigue has really accumulated over the past couple of weeks. the deadlifts on Tuesday didn't help either. warm ups were unbelievably painful. even now on the way home I'm feeling a bit dizzy. I'm not too fussed as this is the first time I've failed on the routine, it was to be expected.
on a separate note I think one of my shoulders is tight.When I was setting up I noticed the bar wasn't symmetrical, felt very unnatural lining it up in the middle.

in two minds whether to train on saturday..

felt mentally and physically drained for the whole of Fri and sat so gave WL a miss.

massive pb today! not gonna lie, it wasn't the prettiest rep I've ever done but it went up nonetheless!

the constant ache I've been having in my it bands has now progressed to it bands AND inner quads. lovely!

pretty annoyed with the bench! strength just not there. got a video of it. did a lot of rolling on quads in preparation for tomorrow's squats. on a positive, my bench is definitely stronger than a couple of months ago as 110 wouldn't have even budged back then!

Your snatch is a damn site better than mine, you really get under the bar. Keep up the hard work and the gains will come.

cheers mate! training is going well at the moment and really enjoying it despite today's failure Happy. and thanks re: the snatch comment. doing WL only once a week sucks though, feel like I forget the technique so quickly. weightlifting or powerlifting lol, hmmm
