Walk your talk Member 5, 25558 posts Administrator	Ok , I pay too much and i want rid of my tv package and broadband .... will sky have allsorts of s**t up their sleeves to make me not cancel ? i have broadband - and tv with HD and its about 80 quid a month ! nowerdays we dont really watch movies or sport and im pretty sure we can 'get by' on the standard free channels and mabie go with BT for broadband (our sky keeps dropping off the wifi for the ipad/phones and its wank) thanks for any input

really really interesting Member 3474, 2816 posts SQ 170, BP 120, DL 260 550.0 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq	just mentioning that you wanna switch providers will provoke a s**tstorm at sky and they'll throw all sorts of discounts at you. you could cut extra channels and get by on freeview AND save a couple quid a month from the original price with a bit of haggling.

Said it was crap because he 1 worked in a call centre and 2 was bent over a barrel and have them whatever they wanted. Find out what basic virgin is say and say your getting this for that and I'm going and they'll at least match it I'd imagine

Tell them you want to cancel as its too expensive, often they will but an offer on your account (if its avaliavle to them) as in ...% of for 12 months. Have heard it to be up to 50% off which isnt too bad!! But be willing to actually cancel though as if they get the feeling your not going to and just looking for a deal they will do nothing to help.
