If Z's back isn't better I wouldn't be surprised if he decided not to compete in the Arnold's. I'd bet he wants another WSM title rather than another Arnold (since he's won it 7 times).

I am pretty sure Mike Burke has retired so won't be going.

His back will be fine, it was only a slight niggle by the looks of things. He still did a 380x5 deficit deadlift..hardly the sign of a broken back. He also competed before and after the comp with heavy weights.

Ah damn, Burke is awesome.

Alexander Lysenko got first at the amature show last year so he should have an invite too.

Benni and warrick brant maybe as they were there this year? Pritchett will probably be there too, especially if Burke has retired as there are usually a few Americans there.

Id expect another American, though not sure who, pritchett seems the likely choice, or Oberst.

I dont think Benni will be there, he seemed a bit out of his depth last year.

Savatinov and the guy who wears the beret (whos name i wont attempt to spell) also seem likely candidates to me.

Why make the Yoke even heavier when only Shaw and Z completed it last year???

Big Z will win his 8th Arnold. Brian second and Ed third for me.

Thoughts on this Donnie, I assume you're backing Z?

When is this event anyway? Does it fall near worlds?

Will be very interesting to see Ed v Brian on a regular(ish) deadlift.

700kg yoke... WHY?!

Also I'm not so sure Z will win this. Brian will most likely beat him on deadlift, and Thor could possibly come between them. He'll match Z on dumbbell, and yoke and frame could go either way I think
