Drex50 just exploded in his pants I think we were all guilty of that That deadlift was really off But that says something about a man who deadlifts 400+ kg and everyone thinks he's badly hurt because he didn't do more I'm so glad he won He's such a nice guy in person that I'll always be cheering for him Feel bad for Shaw because you can see the man put in 100% into preparation But that's all the part of the game unfortunately I'm glad more people didn't get hurt from the insane weights And to reply about the young Polish guy and WSM He was invited the last time also, so he'll be invited again The last time he felt he wasn't ready so he didn't go (didn't know the events soon enough) I think he's the only guy that's more dedicated than Shaw in terms of contest preparation | ||

Member 5998, 24 posts | Congrats to big Z the Man the Legend Gutted for Brian, hopefully his injury is not as bad and he'll be able to start at the WSM, Lalas great comeback solid performance. Kieliszkowski didn't look happy at all during the closing ceremony, I don't think 4th place is what he has envisioned for himself going in. I'm sure having 4 events in one day didn't help anyone. | ||

 It's a moonface era now. Member 5901, 956 posts | even though i dont like Shaw he was very good, much better than last year, which i didn expect his injury obviously not that serious Shaw on facebook: "Just finished up 2nd place at the 2016 Arnold Strongman Classic. It was a tough battle after slightly tearing my hamstring on my final 1021 lb deadlift at the beginning of the competition. I did everything I could do today and came up one point short. No excuses as we all have to deal with getting beat up and I will only come back even stronger!" after performance here he's a favourite for WSM for sure | ||
