I enjoyed beyond 531 and IMO it's worth getting. I think it seems to move away from 531 slightly with things like joker sets and first sets last.
I'm not currently using 531 but will prob go back to it at some point and when I do I'll be using things from this book.

1x3 182.5kg rpe 8. all felt good and quick. Wanted to do some singles to so also did
1x1 195kg
1x1 200kg
Neither full on grinds but a good amount of grind
Load drop
1x3 175kg

Competition bench
Worked up to
1x3 130kg at rpe 8.5. Moved quick
Load drop
1x3 125kg
Bench feels like its moving again now. Don't want to test anything just yet,will keeping going.

Sumo deadlift
Work up to
1x3 210kg rpe 8.5
Load drop
1x3 205kg got all out of shape on the last rep which made it harder than it should have been. Called it quits.

For those saying that cardio helps, I've got a bit of a cold at the moment so my chest isn't great. I'm taking my inhalers and a tablet the Dr gave me. I've stopped doing any cardio because I didn't think my chest would be up to it, should I wait until my chest is clear to start cardio again or do it now?

Only trained one day last week, which was a bit of a fluff session the Sunday after Christmas. Then got some serious man flu. Just looked at it as a deload. I've reduced all last volume sessions number by 5%. Which gives me the below.

Didn't feel like I had much energy tonight but suppose that's to be expected after being ill and all the crap I've stuffed my face with over Christmas. Feels good to be back in gym tho.
