Wondering if any one can help me. I pull sumo and am very slow off the floor. I know that that is an issue for a lot of sumo pullers but what can I do to improve it? Is there a certain muscle group to strengthen? I've got quads in my head for some reason. My current programme is based on Texas method and I'm pulling twice a week. Once on Monday for about 5x5, from a deficit. Then again on Friday, which is for low reps and higher weight. My current 1rep Max is 245kg, I've failed 250kg at my last competition( got it about a cm off the floor) and I've set myself a goal of 260kg by the end of the year. | |||
