Deadlift 60 x 5 100 x 5 140 x 5 180 x 5 200 x 1 207.5 x 3 x 2 Better than the squats (another rep or 2 in each set) and found a reasonable groove

Squat 60 x 5 100 x 5 140 x 3 150 x 5 x 2 . By god these felt heavy! A combination of inadequate warm ups and inadequate calories made for unhappy bedfellows…. Was going to do some fronties, but sacked them off

Deadlift 60 x 5 100 x 5 140 x 5 160 x 3 170 x 5 x 5 felt a bit difficult then later on realized that it should have been 165. Oh well, nice to know it’s there

I'm doing this for bench at the moment Dan. Not long into it though, but seems to be working nicely so far.

Squats 60 x 5 100 x 5 120 x 3 140 x 3 150 x 5 x 2 First couple of sets were a bit ropey, but the others were better after a more assertive descent Front Squat 100 x 5 110 x 3 120 x 3 3 rep PB and an all time PB too! Most pleased with this, but onwards and upwards

First session of Feb, and a real doozy! Bench 60 x 5 80 x 5 100 x 3 110 x 2 120 x 1 130 x 1 137.5 x 2 140 x 2 145 x 2 105 x 3 x 8 The warm ups felt great but the 137.5 didn’t go up quite as well as I’d expected. However, it was a spotterless PB, so quite pleased with that. Got a spotter (and a hand off) for the 140 and that flew up. Definitely another in there. The 1st rep of the 145 went up fine, but the second was a bit of a grind. Still, at the start of December, my 1RM was a ground out 145, so to double it is very pleasing |
