I was ready for it months in advance but the guy I trained with (who was a great powerlifter) never let me pull anything heavier than 215kg for ages. I was chomping at the bit!! 215 was flying like an empty bar. When the comp came round, I went 215, 227, 240. Awesome feeling! | ||
