Hats off to you, I deffo do the same in your shoes Well luckily I had the sense to never marry, to be fair she wouldn't have married me either, things were just never right between us. We got pregnant completely by accident and I did "the right thing", stood by her, bought a house etc. She had a coil fitted after the birth but still managed to get pregnant again somehow, so I have two kids. I love my kids and will never regret having them, but I do regret "wasting" 16 years of my life in a loveless, boring relationship. I'm not one for spouting advice but I would say to anyone, if they aren't happy in a relationship change it, don't waste any more time. We're only here once and there are plenty of happy, bubbly, attractive girls out there looking for decent guys. There is an awful lot of fun to be had in this world. | ||

Very true that, been married 8 years, she already had a daughter (ready made family!) Who was turning 11, we got our first house june last year, you have nothing to compare your life to, esp since none of my mates are married or have kids! She's a decent person, when I met her I was very attracted to her, but she has let herself go, but I'm still in good shape, in fact better shape than when we met, but things have changed she's dropping hints about having a kid together but she knows I'm having none of it, not interested. | ||
