Is this normal? Do others get this?

OK, I was thinking it would be this. Can I assume its nothing to worry about in the absence of serious blood pressure problems?

Correct.

After max effort / suited sessions I sometimes get them over my entire face and chest, and across my shoulfers and back. Nothing whatsoever to be worried about.

OK, that makes sense. I was wondering why I would be getting them as my lifts are rubbish, but you get much more little spots with much heavier lifts which would seem logical.

Do you get any funny looks as a result? (more than usual)

In that case should I worry about the lack of spots on other peoples faces (at my gym)?

Grin I was in Walsall hospital at 4am one morning with these, NHS direct thought it was meningitis. My neck, shoulders and chest were covered in them.

I get it too, but sometimes when lifting in a suit I burst ones in the eyes too, meaning they go red and stay that way for bloody ages. That draws a lot of funny looks

I've had them in the past...

... Not from lifting though, from drunken sicking, shamefully.

Yes, it happens. Nothing to be worried about, although it is not always aesthetically pleasing.
