» what are you stronger on, Log press or Axle press (Go to post) | 05-05-2014 @ 13:14
Was log, now it's axle. I find the clean easier on a log but once I've racked an axle I know it's going up. With a log, anything could happen.

being a card carrying mong puller, i lift with a rounded back, but after trapping a nerve nearly two years ago ive straightened right out. my upper back still rounds out, but i keep my lower back as tight as i can. seems to have worked out a lot of my issues.
» 645% increase in steroid users, says charity (Go to post) | 10-04-2014 @ 23:18
id say overall the biggest problem is the rise of the curl bro. its seem as desirable now to have the abs biceps and chest, and like people have said, people don't want to put the work in. id bet a decent amount of money that steroid use is a lot higher i'm people using it for aesthetic reasons than it is in people using to give them a little more in their chosen sport. yes, steroids arent going to be great for you, however, as someone who sees all sides and aspects to it, as with anything like this, if you do your research, if you personally know your limits and if you have the self control to not keep dosing up and dosing up and dosing up (as a lot do) i cant see them as this demon drug that will kill you. also taxes. tax them at 80 odd percent and you'll be able to do as many as you like, even 50 years or so after its been proven theyll kill you slowly and horribly.

» Smoking... (Go to post) | 03-04-2014 @ 01:00
Despite both parents smoking it's never appealed to me. It's actually a reason I stayed with my wife longer than I would have, I didn't want to move back home and have everything of mine stink. When I did move back for a month or so my eyes constantly streamed, throat hurt, I developed a cough and generally hated it. Both parents have since given up using those vapour things though, and it's much better.
