 Weird injury specialist - now with funny groin Member 283, 1648 posts | Im in total agreement with everyone about the wrestling,its got no place in strongman.Me and Joni thought it was f**king ridiculous on hearing about it.I hope nobody sustained any serious injuries!The prospect of having a combined wt of 50stone+ falling onto a knee or ankle could end someones strongman career in flash.These organisers just want entertainment for tv viewers at possible expense of the athletes health which is f**king wrong.If people want to see wrestling they can watch WWF ect! | ||

It's a fairly classic trail of strength. However it doesn't sit well with the training required to move the weights that are being asked of these guys. They have to sacrifice mobility and stamina in favour of strength and bodyweight. I don't think you can have both types of event at this level. | ||
