Member 13, 14460 posts SQ 230, BP 180.5, DL 262.5673.0 kgs @ 128kgs UnEq Administrator | i think terry only had cramp, loz had sore elbows and cramp, saddler had a dodgy hammy from wrestling in the heats (i think  ) marku's head was pissing blood i think thats from an old injury, someone said he had a minor car crash on the way back from the uk's quals and a bit of windscreen cut open his headobviously alot of this is hearing parts of convosations, or he said that he said that he said type of things met and had a chat with a few people today, bulldog, joni, andy, jeff, shal, steve gardner (mobster) and colin bryce the f**king events took the piss, 1st one didnt start till 10:30, 90 mins late, the wrestling didnt start on time, it was atleast an hour late, and the stones coming straight after wrestling turned into an announced hour which was 2 earth hours, it took the piss really, but when things got going they were good | ||

In fact the only people who were treated more like s**t than the spectators were the competitors. Wrestling? It's all been said. f**king joke. If the organisers think that kind of thing is entertaining might I suggest team strongman rollerball for next year, but with spikes in the gloves and no helmets. Maybe we could have everyone hospitalised well before the final event? Thats entertainment eh? Dispite being a quiet type, the Felix is a thinker. He's already gone away with thoughts and ideas to improve and I'm sure there's plenty more to come. | ||

 left the country satisfied Member 10, 19241 posts SQ 240, BP 150, DL 270660.0 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq | yeah, putting aside the fact that this was easily the worst strongman comp i have ever watched by a mile due to s**t organisation, organisers treating spectators and athletes like s**t and the f**kING WRESTLING, i still had fantastic time. It was a strongman fans wet dream to meet all the folks and see how it happens behind the scene. Also was good to see how mark prepares for the events and the comp and all the routines involved. Plus i got my fan photo with Jouko Ahola and got to talk to the man (in finnish) few times. A Legend. Good banter, good fun. f**k my sunburn hurts tho... hey one thing about the wrestling, only 5 athletes went to the stones, and two of them just did one stone and were too injured to do more (jimmy and mark westaby only needed tio load one stone to secure their placings). Oli and Eddie got too injured from wrestling to do stones, oli was taken to the hospital for bicep injury and eddie messed his hamstring (plus otgher problems). The athletes tent looked like a war zone casualty tent after wrestling... | ||
