Front Squats:

barx5, 60kgx3,3, 80kgx2, 100kgx2, 112.5kgx2, 122.5kgx2 (PB), 132.5kgxf

- 132.5kg was close, just felt I was tipping forward and didn't want to mong it out. I'm sure I will get this next time. They felt better compared to last time.

Strict Pendlay Rows:

60kgx8, 70kgx8,8,8,8

Cable Pull Downs:

Did about 5 sets of 8 reps.

No pressing as I am hoping to get some log and axle work in 2m. Quick session today and pb on front squat was good.

Log Press:

65kgx2,2, 75kgx1, 85kgxf, 80kgx1,f, 65kgx3c,3p, 70kgx3c,3p, 75kgx1

Log Press and Axle Medley:

Log=65kg, Axle=55kg (strict pressed each rep on axle)

3 reps on each, 6 reps total in 75 seconds. Could have got one more on log but was running out of time and tried to one motion it and failed.

Absolutely s**t, pressing has just become painful and I'm missing weights I should be getting even on a bad day. It is probably the hardest log I have used but should be able to easily hit 85kg on it.

It's a hard log Raj, no doubt. You got some work in though, think how easy other logs are gona feel after mine!

True Dave, just annoying but looking back best I ever did on your log was 70kgx2... so hitting 80kg and 70kgx3c,3p is not bad. Atleast some progression.

that's much better than before then! bear in mind dave's log actually weighs 85 empty not 65, he lies! so you really did 90x3c3p and i did a 120 strict log Eek Eek Eek

I was thinking just now, at warehouse I repped the 80kg log for 3 easily just warming up! Dave's log must be more than 65kg, it just has to be (for me anyway! Lol).

Squats:

barx5,5,5, 60kgx3,3, 100kgx3, 120kgx1

Belt on: 140kgx1, 150kgx1, 160kgx1, 170kgx1 (PB!!!), 140kgx3,3,3

- The 170kg was very nice, best heavy single I have done recently and technique was spot on (no wraps).

Bench:

barx8, 60kgx5, 80kgx3, 100kgx1, 110kgx1 (f**k me failed 2nd rep!)

110kgx2,2,2 (=pb), 85kgx10 (triceps just fail to get any more reps).

- thank f**k I got the doubles, attempted a 3rd rep on last set but missed it. I will take this today.

15" Deadlift:

DOH: 60kgx5, 100kgx3, 140kgx3

Straps: 170kgx1, 200kgx1

Max rep effort on 180kg in 75 seconds with VG giving me 'down' signal (PB)

Good session overall. Very happy with the 170kg squat, feel more is there. Bench, no progression but atleast I got the doubles again!

Incline bench (CG+paused):

barx5, 40kgx5, 60kgx5, 70kgx5, 75kgx5, 80kgx5 (PB!), 85kgx2

T-bar rows:

20kgx10, 30kgx10,10

Pull downs:

10,10

Done.

Deadlift:

60kgx5,5, 100kgx2,2, 140kgx2, 165kgx2, 182.5kgx5 (PB!!!!)

- This was a long time coming, all those weeks building it back up has worked. This was conventional, no pain and it felt easy. More is definitely there.

15 inch Deadlift:

100kgx3, 140kgx1 (DOH)

Straps: 180kgx5,5

- sets on 180kg were all held at lock out until down signal given, just one of those things to get used to for the comp.

Clean and Press:

40kgx3c3p, 50kgx3c3p, 60kgx3c3p, 70kgx6c6p,6c6p

- no elbow pain, no wrist pain and good cleans. Happy with this even if the weight is a bit light.

Savickas Press:

40kgx8,8

Good session, very happy with the deadlift pb! Grin

another strong session. nice dead pb, n also 70kg isnt that light for clean n press each rep for 2 sets of 6.

I've read this one page and seen the letters PB about 20 bloody times! Eek

Being the "sumo t**t" how are you getting on lifting conventionally for the COTF comp, has it been difficult to switch back?

Oh, and if Adam comes with you to watch tell him he's not allowed to heckle me! Grin
