16-18 (1996-1998) dad bought me a Weider set for my bedroom. 40kg top bar weight.
18-21 (1998-2001) did rowing and therefore did the weights circuits sessions as part of that
21-24 (2001-2004) in the latter stages of my medical degree. Got to know about powerlifting. Did my first squat/dead workout circa 2003.
24-27 (2004-2007) I call these the lost years. Newly qualified doctor at 24. Basically worked like a b**ch. Minimal time to do anything else.
2007-present. Had a 6 month blip last year with a bad back but apart from that enjoying my best and most productive training stint.

Started around 17 or so only doing about 3 machines and running. Then came to uni and had my first experience of free weights and only ever benched, curled, sit ups and cardio. Then around my 20th birthday or before i started training with supersteel and started squatting and benching. Think my lifts were around 80kg bench, 90kg squatishhhh and 140/150kg deadlift.

Started weights at 12, along side martial arts
First serious training with a f**king strong bodybuilder at "Micky's" in Dunfermline at 17, after he saw me arm wrestling in a pub, haha
Boxed at uni, so weight training was more supplimental/destroying myself with very little return
Found a strongman gym in 2008, (unit 20) and started training towards something again
