Interesting question im gonna get myself some shoes soon ive looked at adidas ironwork 3's which are £85 and with packaging id imagine £90+ and also do wins which are £65 and probs £70+ with packaging so the big question is...... is it worth paying the extra for the adidas or just get the do wins ?????

Really need some as i think my overhead will come on leaps and bounds ( i hope ) and also would be nice to have a solid heal for squatting haha

Thanks fella's

An oly lifter told me, if you're not going to be cleaning and jerking all day you don't need to spend 100+ on a pair of shoes.

Ive got do-wyns and havnt had a problem with them mate. They are alot wider than the adidas so i feel more solid on the ground. The velcro strap holder things are a bit weak tho so be gentle with them or they break!! (i havnt broken mine but i think rob frampton has broken all 4 of the clips! and had them half the time ive had mine)

hmmm interesting mate ! the reason i ask is because im thinkin f**k it get adidas but if its not worth it ill jus save the £20-£30 and get do wins! tbh after i saw jamies do wins i quite liked em as they look different and for money are fookin cool ha

I have a pair of Adidas Ironworks 3's and I absolutely love them and would highly recommmend them, though in fairness I have no experience of the do win shoes.

ive tried both on and i prefer the adidas. the adidas are a tighter fit yet comfortable. the do-win sole feels to hard and sturdy for me, feels wierd. Happy

He now uses cable ties in place of the old metal bits lol
I just tie the laces tight and then have the velcro fairly loose so dont pull it tight..... worried they wil break after seeing rob do it.

I believe the heels are higher in the do wins which you may or may not prefer...

My son's ony 14 and broke the Do Wins when he 1st tried them on. Pullums replaved them immediately and there've been no problems in the 12 months or so that he has had them since.
