bignige1986 | Adidas weightlifting shoes vs do wins ??? | 08-03-2010 @ 21:04
Taleban says his views on women are extreme Member 639, 3518 posts SQ 10, BP 10, DL 1030.0 kgs @ 10kgs Eq | Interesting question im gonna get myself some shoes soon ive looked at adidas ironwork 3's which are £85 and with packaging id imagine £90+ and also do wins which are £65 and probs £70+ with packaging so the big question is...... is it worth paying the extra for the adidas or just get the do wins ????? Really need some as i think my overhead will come on leaps and bounds ( i hope ) and also would be nice to have a solid heal for squatting haha Thanks fella's

Gone and easily forgotten....... Member 331, 22298 posts SQ 185, BP 100, DL 230515.0 kgs @ 85kgs UnEq | An oly lifter told me, if you're not going to be cleaning and jerking all day you don't need to spend 100+ on a pair of shoes.

Allegedly very strong, but only Carls word for it Member 682, 838 posts | Ive got do-wyns and havnt had a problem with them mate. They are alot wider than the adidas so i feel more solid on the ground. The velcro strap holder things are a bit weak tho so be gentle with them or they break!! (i havnt broken mine but i think rob frampton has broken all 4 of the clips! and had them half the time ive had mine)

over 1000 posts and still no tagline Member 865, 1370 posts SQ 200, BP 155, DL 250605.0 kgs @ 80.6kgs UnEq | I have a pair of Adidas Ironworks 3's and I absolutely love them and would highly recommmend them, though in fairness I have no experience of the do win shoes.

the best deadlifter, just smaller numbers Member 469, 1131 posts SQ 280, BP 200, DL 320800.0 kgs @ 116kgs UnEq | ive tried both on and i prefer the adidas. the adidas are a tighter fit yet comfortable. the do-win sole feels to hard and sturdy for me, feels wierd.
