He's been about a few years and is getting better all the time, I would think he'll start featuring in some of the bigger comps in the uk soon enough. Loads of highlights like Frank Conelly on the log incline...seemed to be in a league of his own, Stuart Bells squats were so easy! Stuart Murray showing how it's done on the arm over arm and pretty solid allround Chris Innes carrying on after tearing his calve was mental! Can see how he's held the title the last few years, very impressive! Was cool to see Jimmy Marku there spectating and interacting with the crowd getting loads of pics and he was threatening to go and do 12-14 reps on the deadlift if someone would hold his jacket.  As for me I got raped but learned alot again, will be back next year and hopefully do abit better!  Jamie Barr made afew hard calls but good to see him stick to his guns. The standard of the scottish strongman is rising with so many guys improving all the time and pushing eachother on! The comaraderie(spelling?) was great! | ||

 Commentators say: he benches like a bodybuilder Member 231, 1873 posts SQ 400, BP 275, DL 3651040.0 kgs @ 135.7kgs Eq | Was good to get back into some strongnan I have been out since aug and ken July so we where both comp rusty it has given us a kick up the ass just what we needed for arnolds I have won Scottish powerlifting and finished with most points at SSM qual last two weeks and have been very unhappy at both performances I don't know if this is a good or bad thing but what I know is I expect much better from myself but I am glad for all the guys who made the final and hard luck to who missed out Stuart and co put on a great show as ever I hope I can make final but I think I have a comp same weekend I have won everything in Scotland uksc strongest man strongest team the open the qualifier but 3 time runner up in fort will has been tough but goose in his own back yard with his kit is a hard man to beat I won squat deadlift second on stones and log took it easy on medley as watching goose pull his calve brought back to many bad memories arm over arm was joke i am a discrace at it no reason to be bad just need to put work in only lost 5 points in the other 5 events so finger out for arm over arm was nice to do some strongman stuff as I have had tough time with injury and missed it bad can I just say frank won log press but I took foot off gas at 11 we will see who does what in final I am looking forward to lancs comp in a couple of weeks but again well done to everyone lots of tough strong guys yesterday and lots of guts shown | ||
