Who's off work due to the snow?

How bad is it in Preston? Im supposed to be at Preston College after work but not going to chance if its bad there too.

It's not too bad here now, still snowing though. All the main roads seem ok so far. Mind you, do they pay you to go to college? Is it worth the effort?

I pay for it myself - in my last 6 months of training to become an Electrican. f**king hate college but its a means to an end - think ill phone them later to see if its still on because the tutor comes from Lancaster.

I was going to say wtf snow? where! But the heavens have just opened up in Brummingham and our lovely grey city is now becoming a dirty white

supposed to be moving south?, when i set off at 7:15 it was very light, its just getting heavier..

We're in today, tomorrow doesnt look as promising. If the snow hits this evening as its supposed to then good chance we'll be off.

Yeah looks that way, just checked the Met office and it seems that this is the start and it is expected in the midlands to be worse around 3pm.
