Very light on bench just to flush blood through so i can bench heavy on friday, i failed epically on 50x50, tbh up to 20 reps it wouldnt have made a difference if it was 50 or 100. Bench 60 close grip 50x35 50x25 Squat 100x5 150x4 200x1 245 4x5 245 1x4 Was supposed to be 6x4 buy prefer less sets. 21's with hammercurl bar, got my ass handed to me on these. 10kg on bar 20kg x2 (couldnt finish 2nd time) 10kg (all out on final part) | ||

Mighty young Joe Member 675, 2271 posts SQ 272.5, BP 180, DL 275727.5 kgs @ 114.8kgs UnEq | Starting to feel overtrained going to have to cut down to squatting once maybe twice a week, taking the time off until saturday. here are some of the posts i haven't got round to putting up Saturday Bench ( old buggered fury) 60x5 90x5 120x3 150x2 (touch) 170x1 175x1 (very easy but alarming hole in shirt now) 180xf (heard ripping and just left it on the chest) Squat 100x4 150x4 200x3 245 3x4 (straps up no belt no wraps) Monday Bench (tried wearing a rugby wicking top to help shirt slip on, made it keep sliding around 60x5 90x5 120x3 Super kat 46 150x2 no chance, wicking top off and katana 44" on 170x1 180x1 180x1 185x1 shirt off 100x15 (PB) 60x32 (PB) 120x5 Biceps cant be assed with training at the moment, trying to be disciplined for the competition but i'm definitely over trained so i know i'll be better for the rest but it feels like im letting myself down. | ||

Mighty young Joe Member 675, 2271 posts SQ 272.5, BP 180, DL 275727.5 kgs @ 114.8kgs UnEq | More drama with the shirt tonight, tried my coachs shirt on for the 150 and 170 (he's 75kg and this was a 40 fury) there was some alarming creaking on the 170, so unless i can get a 44 fury in the next week then im doing the competition raw, i cant touch on a weight which is a definite technically perfect lift then i cant use the shirt, no point opening on a heavy weight i can touch with as if i miss it then im even less likely to get it after that. Bench 60x5 80x5 100x5 120x3 shirt on 150x1 170x1 shirt off 140x1 145x1 (PB with non-light weights) 150xf 135x4 130x5 120 2x5 (last set all paused) Squat 100x3 150x3 200x3 The mum walks in and says she's picking me up early to go watch a programm on tv, so crack through the next sets in fast succession. 250x1 (straps up) 290x3 (knee wraps and belt) These weren't deep enough but there was more reps there so if i hadn't rushed it i'm confident i would have got them all in, as far as heavy squats can be they felt pretty easy. | ||

Getting it off took about 10 minutes though, the shirt itself was skin tight even on the floppy back and it didn't go below my belly button so i looked like a bit of a dick. | ||
