80x4
100x3
110x1
120x1
Shirt on 4 " board
140x3
160x2 ( hmm nice and speedy, sod 167.5 i want 170)
170 3x2 ( alright, spotters had to leave after 4th set so decided to go for some reps if poss, hopefully 3)
170X5!!!!! ( felt alright as well, didnt want to chance a 6th, just kept going, hopefully now im dropping to lower boards the weight wont drop significantly, if i can do it off a 2 board i can generally do it off my chest)

thanks lusk, i would like to bring home some medals, dont know about winning as this bloody american's got a 217.5kg bench. after being annoyed last week as smashed 240kg on pin pulls like it was nothing and 260 wouldnt move, grr. i decided to add some reverse bands, these are only rubbish fitness bands but give me that little bit to get the bugger moving, got a video of the big one aswell.
Pin pulls ( plates elevated 4", mid shin) all in suit
70x2
140x2
190x2
230x2( add belt and reverse bands, felt as easy as 190)
260x2
280x2
300x1,f (first might not be fully locked out, went up fine but was somewhat shocked by how much weight i was doing)
300x1 ( yeh boii!)
317.5x1 ( get in!, video to follow friends loading on youtube)

thinking about going off floor next week, and if i drop the point the bands were attached to i can keep the tension the same, and work out how much they give my best bet is 25kg at bottom, if thatGrin!!!!

some DE box squats (just with the 2 guys who are training with me)

Deads (no suit)
100x3
150x15 (in about a minute, just having a go to see what i could if i have a go at that strongman comp)

bench
60x4
80x3
100x2 ( still screwed from wednesday, best leave it)

pushpress, (maybe?)
50x3
70x6 (strongman weight, just got out of breath as on chest all time)
85x1
100xf (damn)

very happy with todayGrin

Would have trained yesterday, aiming for a 3rm with belt and tight wraps on top of the suit, 265kg possibly. However have been ill as hell and am not training till saturday as the british squad session is then. Not the best buildup to that and 3 of my AS exams, been asleep for most of the time!

Thanks malc, coped alright with the exams, apart from those bloody logarithms. Sod all time to revise, hedge your bets it wont come up and the bas***ding things the final question. Anyway enough of the rant. British squad session tomorrow and i'll try and get some videos up as i'm sure our two resident medallists from last years worlds will be in fine form. Time to cash in some pb's after all the hard training. Not getting a squat to depth last time i'm determined to do well now, i've got a feeling that the 600lb deadlift should be there so thats the big aim for tomorrow.

good day on saturday, still having trouble with depth on squats but i felt very tight as i started, i've been given some stretches to do to help with the IT band and my groin which should help, and i desperately need some heeled shoes, which should be rectified this week. Not too sure on all reps as was loading and spotting etc
barx8
70x5
120x5
165x3 (add suit)
195x2
225x1
245x1
265x1 (slightly high still)
280x1 ( marginal, so wont count as pb)

All these felt easy and i didnt wear a belt on any of them to try and help with depth but im gonna work on the stretching and hopefully should get better, this suit doesnt help as its got lots of stopping power and no pop.

Deadlift
75x3
125x3
165x3
205x1
225x1
245x1
265x1 (pb, and according to tony stevens plenty left!!)
272.5xf ( felt alright goin up but started twisting, managed to almost correct it but it took the momentum out of it)

272.5xf ( went for it again but smoked)

Bench
60x5
80x5
105x3
120x1
Add shirt
140x1 (2" board)
155x1 (pb, havent touched chest in along time so despite the weight feeling easy it wasnt sharp enough, to slow coming down and didnt explode off chest)
160xf (ass up)

The weight went well but in the meeting afterwards talking about the team they dont think they're gonna be able to send over a team to brazil for the worlds as its so expensive. As i already couldnt make it to the europeans due to exams i'll be incredibly pissed off if we don't send a team, as its my last year at u18 so ill be annihalated next year. however if i had got the 280 it would have been a 700 total!!

Thanks, also forgot to say they're trying to get me a wild card entry to the british seniors, as i don't know what the qualification total is at jun/sen but i doubt i've got it.

Thought i'd be alright to train today but felt low on energy after the bench, shut down the shirt work quickly as arms still buggered. Think i pussied out to early on the final dead but ass rose up and would have had to muscle it out, which i dont want to have to do, got a video of the 295 dead and even then i seem to drive my hips up to early, bloody suits incredibly tight at the bottom with the belt on though.

Bench
60x6
80x5
100x1
120x1
Shirt on 2" board
140x1
no board
155x1
160xf (very low and forearm didn't like it)

skull crushers and dbell bench

Reverse band deads (50kg tension at bottom none at top)

70x5
120x3
165x3 (straps up)
205x1
245x1 (belt on)
275x1
295x1
315xf ( should have done it but pussied out)
