Aw cmon Chris you could have done better than that mate, "just above" means a solid quarter squat, almost as bad as Paul's f**king 200kg smith machine quarter squat.

Nice one - be good to meet you again.

Well think i may give training a miss tonight - since about an hour after i got home from the gym last night i have been getting shooting pains in my forearm (No wanking jokes) which is still there today.

I dont know what it is and dont want to make it worst given that ive got a proper session planned out for Sunday at Olympic.

But saying that when it comes to finishing work i may just take some pain killers and train anyway.

Well i decided to train in the end because my arm felt a little better in the afternoon - bit of a s**te session to be honest though.
Wasnt really feeling it when i got there, the gym was dead so i was on my own for 20 minutes and then my arm started giving me s**t.

BB Clean & Press

Not the best but not the worst - equalled my previous PB so its not too bad.

Push Press

Again - equalled my previous PB and yet again i failed the 100kg but it will go soon enough.

Forearms, elbows and biceps were hurting at this point so called it a day. Gonna rest until Sunday Funday at Olympic now.

Had an awesome session today - not major weights but ive managed to get my head round the proper tecqnique on cleaning and snatching thanks to Kev & Lee.

As always it was a great laugh training with Lee, Sam, Joe and a few others.

Hadnt planned on starting with deadlifts but i went with the flow and did a few which were s**te today - felt like a proper grind.

Deadlifts
5x70kg
5x120kg
4x140kg
1x170kg
1x180kg

Power Cleans
5x50kg
5x50kg
5x50kg
5x70kg
4x70kg

Cant be exact on the above reps as i just kept doing them until i got the technique right - big thanks to Kev & Lee on coaching me here.

Dumbbell Snatch
5x30kg
5x30kg
2x40kg
2x40kg
Fx50kg
Fx50kg

Again, not exactly the reps i did or in the right order but i was working on the snatch more than anything. Got it in the end.

Partial Overhead Medley
30kg Dumbbell
70kg Barbell
65kg Axle

40kg Dumbbell
80kg Barbell
75kg Axle

40kg Dumbbell
90kg Barbell (Failed to clean twice)
85kg Axle (Failed to clean twice)

Did great on the first two medleys as my new found technique helped a lot but by the time i got to the third i resorted back to my old s**t technqiue and got gassed. Not to worry though - ill get it soon enough. Plus i had done a lot of volume prior to this.

Cleaned the 87kg both times fine but just failed to press it - still happy with the 85kg though and it will go next week.

Had a rest for ten minutes then tried to get the 117kg stone up on its own just to prove to myself i could.

117kg (Loaded Finally - PB) (Note - this is when i screamed like a girl)

Then cleaned up, locked up and headed home. Great session with the lads today and good to meet some people for the first time - Kev, Pagan & Doc77.

Also great to see the usual suspects - you know who you are.
