Warm Up: BTN Strict Press, Strict Press, Push Press, all with bar only for 5 reps.
Push Press:

Close-Grip Bench Press:

Decent. None of the 80kg doubles were particularly good, but none of them were particularly difficult either. Close grips were easier than expected - probably had another rep or two on the top set if I had hailed a spotter before starting it. Good training with Alex, who nailed some very nifty split jerks.

Cheers mate. Going to work my close-grip hard now as triceps are becoming a bit of a weakness in my push presses.

Close grips were all easy. No spotters on hand for the top set of close-grips, but I really should have done a third rep anyway as there was not much chance of missing it. Happy with how I've retained my strength on these without doing them in ages, but I need to push the weight up alot if they're really going to help with my push pressing.
Still can't hold onto the bar properly on the fronties - I was on the verge of losing the bar even on the warm ups again, which is a pain in the arse as the top set felt easy enough apart from that. Also, just need to train f**king harder - I haven't been pushing myself anywhere near hard enough in alot of sessions lately.

Only got out of work at 9 so I didn't have long to train! Also, I'm fat and lazy. Not doing any weights tonight, but I might go and do some cardio about 8ish.

I nailed my cardio like a man mofos! A fat, morbidly unfit man who was on the verge of passing out after 20 minutes of threadmill running on a miniscule incline, but I did do it.

Yeah mate, I'll be in tomorrow evening about 8 o' clock. Aborted my session tonight after push pressing and front squatting up to 80kg. Tired, stiff and just didn't have it in me tonight. On the upside, ended up getting 71 in my uni dissertation that I thought I failed and 70 overall, with 2 exams left to go. Ole! s**t session, great day.
