Put on a brave face for the first set which was a decent pace, but died badly after that. Did 6,854m last week so 85m down on that. Tuesdays session was very tough as well, think I need a little more recovery between the AT sessions. So, I'm going to drop the mid week runs for now, see how that goes. If it still seems I'm not recovering properly for the AT work I'll drop Sundays UT1 session.

Might take the weekend off as well, I think it would do me some good, I can hit it fresh again on Monday, but I'll see, it's pretty addictive

I'm on every other day at the minute, and although I definitely feel like I could do more, I don't feel like I need to. Perhaps if progress stalls, I'll have to step it up a bit. I enjoy my days off the rower! Tell us more about Friday Family Circuits - how many of you are there and what do you do? How old are your kids?

I enjoy my days off the rower! Tell us more about Friday Family Circuits - how many of you are there and what do you do? How old are your kids? I think training on it hard every day is too much for me for sure, it caught up with me a little this week. It's a bad habit I've had as long as I can remember, if I miss a day training I feel like I've been lazy / am falling behind etc. A load of bollox I know There are 4 of us at home, myself and the misses - Mon, Kurg - 9 and Mia - 7. Mon's always trained, although never competed, she's racked up more k's on the C2 than I have. We've trained with the kids since they were about 4, just easy stuff to start with, but now they can both keep up with me on circuits. They go to a boxing club as well, and we do Squat/Bench/Dead once a week, Kurg is doing 3x10 on Squat 40kg, Bench 25kg, Dead 50kg. For The Friday Circuit we rotate each week who picks the 10 exercises, each exercise is done for 10 reps and the whole thing is done 10 times through. So last night it was Kurg that set it up, we did: Mountain Climbers Russian Twists Press ups Crunches Squats Jack Knives Burpees Squat Jumps Lunges Walk out Press ups Usually takes 20 minutes or so, it's tough to start with, but now my cardio is improved it's not that bad. After we have a massive curry

I need to get my boys doing something like that. They would love it and could do with some extra training. The curry sounds like the best bit though!

6:19.WTF Member 3359, 3677 posts SQ 250, BP 210, DL 295755.0 kgs @ 89kgs UnEq | 2nd coat jt, it's exterior so I've been trying to time it with the weather and work etc. House is brick, it's a rental we have and was painted when we got it. I scraped it down and re-pointed a chunk of it over the summer as there were a few small cracks in the mortar, we suspected water got in during bad weather earlier this year. It's Sandtex Ultra Smooth Masonry Paint, I don't know much about exterior painting so just went off a couple of recommendations for it, I hope you're not going to tell me it's bollox Sparrow, they are, and it is! I look forward to it all week

Home made, we had a Chicken Madras last Friday, a lot more to eat and it's far cheaper! jt, this is the back of the house, it's already had one coat here, but this is before: https://imgur.com/i25UAcb And this is after: https://imgur.com/r21obZc So, due to being disorganised and pushed for time I've ended up not eating or drinking since breakfast today Row - 30 min UT1, 2k cool down Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M HR 30:00.0 8,094m 1:51.1 255 1176 27 149 6:00.0 1,726m 1:44.2 309 1362 29 149 12:00.0 1,611m 1:51.7 251 1163 27 149 18:00.0 1,593m 1:52.9 243 1134 26 150 24:00.0 1,583m 1:53.7 238 1119 26 149 30:00.0 1,581m 1:53.8 237 1116 25 150 Despite being a touch dehydrated and not eating all day this was a fair bit easier to do than the UT1 work I've been doing recently. I could get up to target HR with a fair bit less effort, short time off has definitely helped.
