Sandtex, well its not the worst. Generally the sloppier the paint the less effective it is, I painted next doors house with sandbox after the neighbour has already bought the paint. I use Dulux Weathershield for our rentals I bought 100L of concrete grey when it was buy 2 get 3rd free it is a pretty good covering.

My own house and my studios I use a Finnish paint, Tikkurlia its the dogs bollox costs around £350 for 20L but is worth it.

I use a "standoff" makes life much easier.

I actually tried to get Weathershield initially, but my order got bolloxed up and I ended up having to buy from town where choice was limited. The Sandtex has gone on ok, second coat seems to have given a pretty good covering. It's pretty rubbery when you're getting it off stuff, I just hope it lasts a while! £350 sounds a lot, but if it's good and lasts 20+ years it's probably worth it, I don't usually mind paying for decent stuff.

Not sure what a standoff is?

Standoff, fits to the top of your ladder to give you a bit of working space between ladder and wall

There is a better version which fits over the top 2 rungs and clips on so no need to piss about with bolts.

Meant to be 4 min rest but I set it up wrong. Hard work but not desperate.

It seems I have developed a habit of spitting onto a t-shirt I have on the floor next to the rower (although I don't always hit it Grin). It's only when I'm in considerable discomfort, so at the moment just on the AT work, but it's a lot easier than messing up my breathing for a couple of strokes. Is this acceptable behaviour?

Cheers Sparrow! Working off HR, distances now are pretty much the same as before I took a rest, but mentally the sessions are a lot easier.

That's the main battle if you ask me. The only person that can beat you is yourself on the C2.

It's nice to follow your progress and will be interesting to see where you're at when you next attempt some PBs.

Yeah, I agree with that.

Same with you Sparrow! As for me attempting pb's, I'm going to scrap any planned ones until my current program finishes. I might sneak one in if I'm feeling good on the day but I'm not going to plan any, I've found it too disruptive when trying to keep training on track.

Feeling decent still, leg drive not holding me back and easier to reach target HR. Faster first set than I've done before but the next three were a touch slower.

Maybe jt, I think I might be close, on the other hand 1:37.5 pace for six and a half minutes sounds like madness!

I've just checked my last 2k and my HR only got to 160. I think my legs burned out rather than my cardio, I did have it on 140 drag, I'm doing most work on 130 at the moment:
