Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17892 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | So this weekend - I watched a whole rugby match for the first time and was fortunate insomuch as I am assured it was one of the best matches ever, I was able to advise a lass at the club how to get more from a close grip bench press. I was able to prevent a chap at the club from squatting high and enable him to regain the path of righteousness. I checked and amended my tyre pressures which meant using my new foot pump which is a delight. I drove a ninety five mile round trip for fish and chips which was rather fun and the meal was another delight. Yesterday after the club I went to the local pub for lunch only to find that they had steak and kidney pudding on the menu. I ordered steak and kidney pudding and chips with an extra pudding and fifty percent more chips and it was brilliant. I have had worse weekends

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17892 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Monday, 28th October, start 16:10 Bench, very raw, squat boots on 20 x 15 20 x 15 20 x 15 50 x 5 60 x 5 70 x 3 80 x 3 90 x 2 100 x 1 105 x 1 110 x 1 115 x 1 All unracked by me and all singles paused. Not as easy as I would have liked but all OK. Another very quiet evening but not as quiet as of late. Fell asleep before nine, which is unusual, hence the late entry. Bit more sleep tomorrow as I have a dental appointment mid morning, so I get the day off

The good Doctor is correct, is was Banny's, near Boundary Mill at Colne, just a mile or so from where, at one time, ALL north west powerlifting comps were held

Olympus does get the very odd visit now and then but only if I happen to be there and in need of food. It is never the reason for being there as it once was

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17892 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Day off today, dental check up at 10, all well, called for some late breakfast / early lunch in a local cafe, passed a bookies and so called in to see if there was anything worth a punt in the first dog race, there was and it won at 5-1. Trousered my winnings and left the premises and home now. I have had worse mornings

Forty years back leisure was t shirt and jeans. Work was shirt, tie and "proper" trousers. First the tie was made not mandatory but the collared shirt remained. Then that shirt became a polo shirt if you wished. Then "casual" trousers were allowed, which in practice means anything that are not jeans. Then jeans were allowed on a Friday and shortly after that it was extended to all other days as well. SO now I am in polo shirt and jeans and casual shoes. Only things on the banned list now are t shirts, football tops, and trainers. As long as they are in good repair pretty much anything bar the aforementioned is allowed. Another recent development is that listening to the radio is permitted, earphones are essential so that no-one else is disturbed. But with that condition - it is allowed. Leisure has not changed for me in forty years, I am still in t-shirt and jeans
