Cheers mate. I've over doubled a small band, they're the red ones I used for the overhead walk. They give about 60kg in the hole. I'd like some smaller ones as well, something the gives about 30kg in the hole. Then I could go a touch lighter and smash out more reps but I don't want to take weight off the bar with this setup as it will be too light in the hole.

Thanks buddy, it's awesome yet completely different to my usual squatting. I have to keep much more upright and fire my abs hard. Feels like it will be very beneficial to both squats and dead. I just wish the damn thing would fit in my garage/rack.

I haven't had time to read you log recently. I need to play catch up, I'm sure I've missed some epic moments.

Ta mate, should be ok in a day or so. Keeps giving out on me today though. I've got a week off work, gonna have some family time so I won't be training. I've also been asked to lay off by the docs as my creatinine levels are high and they want to know if my training sessions are giving me skewed results or if I really do have kidney problems. My money is on the training but it's always good to make sure.

Sessions are looking strong mate and hopefully the hip heals up fast.

On the elevated creatinine levels this is normal in lifters especially if your heavier, I had the same they made me drink loads of water and I had to keep going in for blood tests it was only when someone on another forum posted up about this that I found out.

Cheers guys. I had a nice week off with the family, some great days spent together. Hip feels fine now, I've been rehabbing it with walking lunges which I now have a love/hate relationship with.

Since I had a week off, I wasn't training (obviously), I also lowered my protein intact and stopped creatine. As a result my creatinine levels came back a normal however I still have an ultrasound booked for next month.

I'll likely need surgery in the next few weeks. ENT have advised that my left nostril is basically closed and will need to be lasered. Fingers crossed this will finally stop the headaches which are a constant feature of my life right now. I had a CT scan recently and am waiting for my next appointment to book the surgery. The MRI basically showed my head is full of "mucopus".

I haven't logged any training this week since it's been reload and I've pretty much been arsing around with stuff and working on my KM. Time to start up again.

120kg x 3 reps
140kg x 3 reps
140kg x 3 reps
140kg x 3 reps --Very smooth reps, challenging despite the low weight. I'm very happy with how these went. I think these are a nice go to on days I need something lighter yet still want a training effect.

Cheers mate, my next increment (for my Hepburn sets) is 90kg however I think I'll need to start using a smaller jump since that's getting close (ish) to 1rm.

I'm finding it very hard to get online and log, let alone read anyone else logs. I have coursework due an it's taking up a lot of time right now.
