Logan is what comic book movies want to be when they grow up. Jackman's the best he's ever been (in any role), and Stewart and Keen (the little girl) are just great. Brilliant take on the classic western.

Anyone seen 'Wild Tales'? Its a film of 6 short stories of revenge. One of the best films I've seen in a while. 9/10

Live by night. I was looking forward to this and I may course controversy here but I was left a little cold by it.I think it was one of those films that had a good storyline but could have gone a little deeper, and been a little less predictable,Affleck is his usual self could have been the account!
just think it could have been a much better film especially given the cast.anyway 2outa 5 for me.

I don't disagree with any of that. I liked it more than you did, but you're exactly right about its problems.

As someone who is not a big comic book film fan and who doesn't like the constant spin offs, sequels and remakes I am resistant to all X men films but I might just have to watch Logan. It can wait till after beauty and the beast though

Also enjoyed Logan - watching it at an IMAX was overkill though

So saw a film called Man down, not what I expected ,it's one of those you need to see near the end to understand what it's trying to tell you ,I'm not the biggest Shia lebeouf fan usually but thought he did a good job.4 out of 5 as it has a powerful message Happy

The Nice Guys now on Netflix...You should all enjoy it, funny film. Two great actors in it as well.

Watched "The Theory of Everything" on Netflix - an older film, the Stephen Hawking film.
Great film - Eddie Redmayne was amazing throughout.
Highly recommended for a Netflix freebie

Bumpity

Just watched a film called 'Remember' about an old guy with dementia who takes off from his care home across the US to try and kill the Nazi that murdered his family at Auschwitz. Very powerful stuff indeed
