AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5206 posts | I don't think they need peds for 10.2 or maybe even 10. However 9.58 is astounding. Not saying bolt is dirty (I hope he isn't) but if he is clean, then he truly is a freak.

The teenager who I am talking about, who ran 10.2, without the use of drugs has never 'shown us historically' that he cheats. Hell he hadn't even had any real specific spring training. He played football. What has happened in the past, in his sport, has f**k all to do with him or whether or not his performance was drug induced. in the grand scheme of things it isn't that fast

nothing to hide, please follow my life on webcam Member 255, 3732 posts | It took 15 years for Jim Hines WR set at altitude of 9.95 to be broken, much of which was when PED use was widespread and there was absolutely no out of competition testing and what in competition testing there was was fairly easy to get around. Surely this would strongly suggest that somewhere around the 10 second mark or just under is where you might start to question whether performances were clean or not?

Alan Wells won the Olympics in 1980 in a time of 10.25seconds - it seems that there is a good amount of evidence suggesting he possibly wasn't "clean". His British record at the time was only 10.11.

He ran 10.05 with 0.1 wind as a junior, now 9.97 2.0 wind. Gatlin ran 10.08 as a teen. Gemili hasn't improved much, i believe it's because he is clean and he is on the upper limits naturally. Victor Conte estimates 0.2 improvement for men and 0.4 for women who dope. That would take Gemili up there with the likes of Gatlin, Gay, Blake. But still not Bolt. We also have a very talented young female sprinter who just ran 10.99. 0.4 would take her up there with the likes of Shelly anne Frazer, Flo-Jo and Carmelita Jetter, who all have very suspicious improvements.

I found this a surprising number, so I did a little reading. The English schools championship record, which has stood for 35 years, is 10.40.
