Is reality a child of illusion? Of course I wish. I notice that you don't say I have to answer them correctly which takes the pressure off - so from memory and imagination. The earth and the moon are not sisters, the earth is made of iron and the moon cheese, so I don't think they are related at all, they are merely neighbours. Reality is indeed a child of illusion, illusion has many children, all similar to the one's nearest to it, but with considerable difference between first and last. We all choose similar ones, so no-one can actually be sure that they have picked the correct one.

I wonder how it was first developed? When Charlie Chaplin came to London, the hotel he stayed at received 70,000 letters for him. He didn't know a single one of the writers but they all felt that they knew him, of course all they actually knew was his image, his public persona. With me and you the people we know is roughly equal in number to the people who know us, fame, I suppose is when you know a hundred people but a hundred million know (or think they know) you. I'll settle for the quiet life. Occasionally at competitions one lifter will nudge another and say "that's him, that's the bloke who lowers his deadlifts real slow, like he's in a library". It's hardly fame but I do enjoy it. And once a year is quite enough.

Squat, very raw, sleeves on 20 x 5 20 x 5 20 x 5 60 x 5 belt on 100 x 2 140 x 2 160 x 2 180 x 2 195 x 2 210 x 2 190 x 3 Good mornings 60 x 5 65 x 5 70 x 5 70 x 5 70 x 5 What a difference a couple of sessions can make, Big Phil was with us which is always a plus and the squats went well tonight, confidence is returning. Aaron benched a pb 225 tonight, I was sorry I missed it but it was done whether I saw it or not. That's rather impressive for an 83 kilo man. Well done to him. Away to the home of the tubular bandage for the second week running. Goat Boy was delighted as was girl number one. As Eddie Temple said in "layer cake" the art of business is being a good middle man and bringing people together. Happy days: Goatboy, Girl number one, Aaron's pb and happy squatting. All in all, a good day. Nice one St Swithin.

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17896 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Found a dead cat by the garage this morning. It didn't appear to have been run over, just sort of whole but dead. Moved it to the side in a visible spot where it shouldn't get hit by passing traffic. Didn't want to hide it as no doubt people will be looking for it, and I reckon it better that they find it dead and have their questions answered rather than just not finding it and never knowing for sure. Shame, I like cats.

He came to tell you goodbye. He always watched you and knew you were a good man. Some cats never let a person pet them. They are in the gang but are on the outside perimeter. They are big males and knock up my Beverly Hills cats.

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17896 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Cat had gone tonight. No sign of him, I presume his family found him, took him and buried him. I recall a short story by Neil Gaiman called I think, "the price". A cat was the star of that. It's a sad story, the cat is heroic, but it suffers.

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17896 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Friday, 17th July, start 16:00. Very warm today Bench, very raw 20 x 20 20 x 20 20 x 20 60 x 5 80 x 3 90 x 2 100 x 1 107 x 2 107 x 2 107 x 2 107 x 2 107 x 2 107 x 2 The last session (6 x 6) really took it out of me, so these were a tad more sluggish than they ought to have been. Still easy enough though Tricep piushdown 30 x 10 35 x 10 40 x 10 45 x 10 50 x 10 55 x 10 60 x 10 65 x 10 70 x 10 Front raise, dumb-bell 16 x 5 18 x 5 20 x 5 20 x 5 20 x 5 20 x 5 Dumb-bell curl 16 x 8 18 x 8 20 x 8 20 x 8 20 x 8 Quite an easy day today which will do no harm, I decided to omit death byes tonight so as to increase the rest factor, the guilt will kick in later which will help when I do start back with them next week. I plan a low-excitement couple of days. Time for Pete to relax.

I still never feel like a typewriter though. What is old? The 80 something year old friend and me cleaned gutters from a tall home. Last thought I saw this dude deadlifting a crap load of weight. His arms looked like they were super long. Do short armed people have more problems deadlifting more so than long armed peopke?

Swings and roundabouts Billy, that's why the best total wins the day. I have shopped and now I rest. I have TV and a good book, I foresee little movement in the next twenty four hours.
